- Kanishka Jayasinghe30.09.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great spot to spend a few hours on a summers day. The marine sanctuary is a fun place to snorkel around but remember the water can be quite cold and beware of the sea urchins.
The water is quite shallow and calm for a fair distance out so you could even bring a chair and umbrella and set yourself up in the shallows with a nice book.
The beach seems to be very popular with families so if you're not a fan of lots of young kids I would recommend avoiding on holidays. - Sriprada Ks17.07.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I went to this place with kids for a holiday program called 'junior rangers'. This place seems gloriously natural, wild, windswept with salty ocean sprays, screeching gulls and diverse birdlife. We explored the pools for multitude of sea fauna and shells and had a good time. Didnt see any cafes or buildings or any thing else here but there were bushes along the coast and ample parking
